Join Michelle DeSimone at the Marie Joseph Spiritual Center in Biddeford for a weekend of experiencing the grace, peace, and freedom that forgiveness brings through the gentle embrace of an all-loving, all-forgiving God.

The Maine Diocesan Council for Catholic Women will present “Meeting Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration” at St. Monica Chapel, 5 Kendall Street in Augusta, on March 11 beginning at 9 a.m. Father Nathan March, pastor of St. Michael Parish in Augusta, will lead the presentation and adoration.

St. Ignatius teaches that imaginative prayer is a gift from God and a way of meeting the Lord in a more personal way, growing our relationship and intimacy with Him. 

A national speaker, Mass with Bishop Robert Deeley, and activities inspiring faith and fellowship are among the many moving experiences awaiting participants at the 2023 Maine Catholic Men’s Conference on Saturday, March 18.

Using watercolor and mandalas, participants will reflect on how to live as Easter people in a Good Friday world.

In this daylong workshop, led by Maureen O'Brien, retreatants will use Psalm 23 as a jumping off point into the beauty, range, and usefulness of the Psalms. Engaging in a series of activities that brings us into these ancient poems, participants will see how they speak to specific joys and challenges in our lives today. Through contemplation, sharing, and listening to others, the retreat will help participants gain insight into how the Psalms can deepen our relationship with God and continuously offer renewal.

Day of faith, joy, inspiration, and hope with Catholic women from across Maine Catholic Women's Conference. The theme of the 2023 Maine Catholic Women's Conference is Holy Friendship. Women will discover the ingredients that make holy friendships, why they are important, and where we can find them. The keynote speaker will be ValLimar Jansen.

St. Brigid School in Portland will offer tours for enrolled students and their families on May 6, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
